We are a supplier of the highest quality Hop Poles in the area. Larch/Tamarack Logs/Poles: Our Hop Yard logs are Larch Trees cut 22 Feet long with a width of between 7 and 11 inches. Please also note that Larch/Tamarack is logged in the mid-winter on frozen ground, so place your orders early so we have you on our list. You should also consider removing the bark on the bottom 4 feet of the pole and adding a wood preservative to your logs which can extend the life. We recommend using foundation tar which will not leach into the soil. When Larch is treated you should be able to get 20 + years from them.
